From Saturday 28 November to Saturday 6 December, Cineville and Leuven International Short Film Festival invite you to attend a different short film compilation every day: a bold and diverse selection  that showcase the very best of emerging film talent. From 20 November to 19 December, Cinema Nova is offering a unique programme focusing on Palestinian audiovisual archives, from the struggle to preserve them to their reinterpretation by contemporary Palestinian filmmakers.

De Cinema pays tribute to one of the most influential directors of recent decades with an extensive retrospective on Pedro Almodóvar. From underground icon of La Movida Madrileña, he grew to become the figurehead of a freer, more colourful Spanish cinema.

During this retrospective, you will discover 18 films: from early titles such as _Pepi, Luci, Bom y otras chicas del montón (1980)_ and _¿Qué he hecho yo para merecer esto? (1984)_ to classics such as _Todo sobre mi madre_, _Hable con ella (35mm)_ and _Volver_. Close to life, rich in colour and emotion – on the big screen, they come into their own once again.

Hold on tight! To celebrate its 85th anniversary, Cineflagey delves into the electrifying world of a cinema genius: Brian De Palma. A master of suspense, horror and psychological thrillers, whose work has left its mark on generations of film lovers.

(Re)discover a selection of his cult films, combining unbearable tension and captivating aesthetics: Scarface (1983), Blow Out (1981), Casualties of War (1989) and Phantom of the Paradise (1974). And that's not all: from January, two more masterpieces will give you the chills, with Dressed to Kill (1980) and The Untouchables (1987).
