Sisters July and September are inseparable, yet very different - September is protective and distrustful of others, while July is open and curious about the world. Their dynamic is a concern for their single mother, Sheela, who does not know what to do with them. When September is expelled from school, July has to fend for herself and begins to claim her own independence - which does not go unnoticed by September. Tension between the three women intensifies when they seek refuge in an old vacation home in Ireland, where July sees her bond with September change in ways she can't quite understand or control - and a series of surreal encounters test the family to the limit.

September Says is the directorial debut of actress Ariane Labed (seen in The Lobster, among others). She delivers her quirky version of a tragic-disquieting family story.

The Churchill cinema is located in the centre of Liege, in a pedestrian area just a stone's throw from the Place Cathédrale. Taken over by the Grignoux in 1982, the cinema le Parc is located on the edge of Liège, near Bressoux. It has a magnificent auditorium with over 400 seats.
