Diego Céspedes takes us to the heart of a village that seems timeless and out of place, much like the novels of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. As for Simon, he has no use for the posthumous whims of a mother who has always been distant. But his love for his twin sister will soon drive him to join Jeanne and travel with her through the land of their ancestors in search of a mother far removed from the one they knew.
