In Paimpont, harmony reigns: among the inhabitants, there's Joëlle - the schoolteacher who gives lessons, Anne - the owner of the mini-market who loves a good aperitif, Hervé - the Alsatian plumber who's more Breton than the Bretons, and Johnny - the village warden who's a fan of... Johnny. In a show of solidarity, they enthusiastically agree to vote to welcome Ukrainian refugees. Except that the refugees arriving aren't Ukrainian... they're Syrian! And some people in this charming little Breton village don't take too kindly to the arrival of their new neighbors. So, at the end of the day, who are the barbarians?
