For 18 years, the AlimenTERRE Belgium international film festival has been raising awareness among citizens about the challenges facing small-scale agriculture and introducing them to possible actions for fairer and more sustainable agricultural and food systems.

Film screenings, meetings and debates, workshops and numerous activities are organised in the presence of specialists from the agricultural sector, directors, farmers' leaders from the South and initiators of concrete and local initiatives.


Al 18 jaar lang maakt het internationale filmfestival AlimenTERRE België burgers bewust van de uitdagingen van de kleinschalige landbouw en laat het hen kennismaken met mogelijke acties voor eerlijkere en duurzamere landbouw- en voedselsystemen.

Er worden filmvertoningen, ontmoetingen-debatten, workshops en tal van animaties georganiseerd in aanwezigheid van specialisten uit de landbouwsector, regisseurs, boerenleiders uit het Zuiden en initiatiefnemers van concrete en lokale initiatieven.


Festival Alimenterre

Depuis 18 ans, le festival international de films AlimenTERRE Belgique sensibilise les citoyen·ne·s aux enjeux de l’agriculture paysanne et leur fait connaître les pistes d’actions vers des systèmes agricoles et alimentaires plus justes et plus durables.

Des projections, des rencontres-débats, des ateliers et de nombreuses animations sont organisés avec la présence de spécialistes du monde agricole, de réalisateur·rice·s, de leader·euse·s paysan·ne·s du Sud et de porteur·euse·s d’initiatives concrètes et locales.



In 2025, one in ten people in France struggle to put food on the table every day. Food aid has become a common sight. Despite all its humanity, it is overwhelmed by the phenomenon. Faced with this situation, a collective of associations in Montpellier has created a communal food bank. Over the course of a year, the film follows the first steps towards a social security system for food. 400 people contribute according to their means and all receive the same amount to feed themselves healthily. Above all, they are taking back control of their lives. Through four sensitive portraits, the film offers a reflection on the right to food.


Manger pour vivre

Johanne, a high school student, falls madly in love with her French teacher and records her feelings in a diary. When her mother and grandmother read what she has written, they are both shocked by the details and impressed by the literary qualities of the text. As they debate whether to publish it, Johanne tries to control her romantic fantasies, and their different conceptions of love, sexuality and self-discovery become clear.

Taken over by the Grignoux in 1982, the cinema le Parc is located on the edge of Liège, near Bressoux. It has a magnificent auditorium with over 400 seats. Its large stage and high quality sound system also make it a choice venue for concerts. The café le Parc located in the same street allows you to have a drink before or after your session.

The Churchill cinema is located in the centre of Liege, in a pedestrian area just a stone's throw from the Place Cathédrale. Probably the best known and most popular cinema in Liège, this complex has 4 cinemas for a total of 800 spectators and a brasserie, which serves as a place to relax, a small restaurant and also a concert hall. Located in the city centre, it is easily accessible by bus or bicycle. Three partner car parks offer a discount if you park your car there.
