Moon Safari (2026) Are filmmakers just like everyone else? Hugo Amoedo left Spain to build a life in Brussels. Fifteen years ago, he also left Raquel behind. All that remains of their relationship is Moon Safari—the album by the band Air, which served as the soundtrack to their love. When a voicemail from Raquel suddenly disrupts his daily life as a filmmaker in Brussels, the past begins to stir once more. Gradually, the lines blur between the life one actually lives and the life one chooses to capture on film—preferably on celluloid.
Sujet Sensible (2025) In Cotonou, Benin, three boys and one girl decide to shoot a short film about harassment. Issa and his friends want to make a movie concerning workplace harassment. Maïmouna, the only woman on the team, tries to ground them in the reality of a form of violence they do not truly understand. Amidst their jokes and her efforts to give the project some substance, another theme emerges: how can one depict violence when one has no personal experience of it? And, more importantly, what responsibility does one assume when choosing to stage such violence?
What We Said to Brussels Airlines (2026) The airline Brussels Airlines offers the Collectif Faire-Part the opportunity to screen their anti-colonial films aboard its aircraft. One hundred years after the first flight between Belgium and the Congo, the airline invites the collective to show its anti-colonial works on its planes. The members of the collective debate the proposal, each putting forward their own arguments, reservations, and internal contradictions. Is it possible to collaborate with a company implicated in forced deportations without contributing to the "whitewashing" of its image? Alongside archives and the accounts of activists and survivors, there arise very practical questions regarding budget, visibility, and accountability. For this invitation also opens up a rare opportunity: to share a history of anti-colonial resistance with thousands of passengers.
