The little-known Hard Eight, the incredible family saga Magnolia, the cult classic There Will Be Blood, and the incandescent 70s rom-com Licorice Pizza are all on the program for this comprehensive retrospective!

And that’s not all: PTA is inexhaustible when it comes to his cinematic masters, so it was unthinkable not to screen the films of the filmmakers who have guided him throughout his career. Jean-Pierre Melville, Akira Kurosawa, John Huston, and Robert Altman round out this generous and carefully curated program—enough to keep you cozy in the dark theaters all winter long.

PTA weigert zich te laten leiden door de codes, trends en normen die de Hollywoodindustrie oplegt.
