The Sessions is an intimate documentary following a young student in the aftermath of sexual violence by someone she trusted. In trauma therapy, she begins to reclaim her life, step by step. Outside those rooms, she speaks to almost no one. When she files a legal complaint, she faces a justice system that survivors often find hard to navigate.
