Het Zakmes

Mees has a boyfriend, Tim. And Tim has a pocket knife, which Mees gets to check out. But when Tim moves out, Mees notices that he still has the pocket knife in his pocket. He wants to give it back, but his boyfriend has already left, heading for Flevoland. Tim's new address doesn't know Mees. And he gets scolded by Dad and the teacher, who think such a knife is very dangerous. Then Mees goes looking. He tries everything: a letter, an ad, a train ride. But Holland is so big for a little boy, and the mechanisms of the big human world far too complicated.
