2055. Steevyshady, an over-botoxed Youtube influencer, tells the story of his idol, the pop diva Mimi Madamour – from her instant success and the height of her fame in 2005, to her tragic downfall, spiralling along with her tumultuous relationship with the punk icon Billie Kohler. The two “Drama queens” sing their passion and their rage in the limelight for half a century.

Inspired by pop music from the 2000s, 90’s television, and by cinematic culture from the 70’s, whilst echoing Douglas Sirk and Billy Wilder, this camp and queer film explores true and fervent feelings.
