To mark the release of _Sentimental Value_, **Cineflagey** invites you to (re)discover all of Joachim Trier's feature films. His “Oslo” trilogy (_Reprise_, _Oslo, August 31st_, and _The Worst Person in the World_) will allow you to discover not only the transformation of Oslo during the 15 years it took to make the trilogy, but also Trier's favorite actor, Anders Danielsen Lie. Since _The Worst Person in the World_, actress Renate Reinsve, the rising European star of the moment, has come to the fore. Reinsve made her film debut in _Oslo, August 31st_ in a supporting role.

_Louder Than Bombs_ is Trier's only English-language film, with an impressive international cast, while _Thelma_ is a foray into genre cinema, with elements reminiscent of De Palma's film adaptation of Stephen King's _Carrie_. All of these films were co-written by Trier with his long-time partner Eskil Vogt (himself the director of two highly promising films, _Blind_ and _The Innocents_).

Naar aanleiding van de release van _Sentimental Value_ nodigt **Cineflagey** je uit om het volledige oeuvre van Joachim Trier te (her)ontdekken. Zijn zogenaamde "Oslo-trilogie" (_Reprise_, _Oslo, August 31st_ en _The Worst Person in the World_) laat je niet alleen de transformatie van een moderniserend Oslo zien over de vijftien jaar waarin de trilogie tot stand kwam, maar ook het werk van Triers vaste acteur Anders Danielsen Lie. Sinds _The Worst Person in the World_ staat daarnaast ook actrice Renate Reinsve (dé rijzende Europese ster van het moment) volop in de spotlights. Opmerkelijk genoeg maakte Reinsve haar filmdebuut in _Oslo, August 31st_, in een kleinere bijrol.

Met _Louder Than Bombs_ maakte Trier zijn enige Engelstalige film, met een indrukwekkende internationale cast, terwijl _Thelma_ een gewaagde uitstap is naar genrecinema, met echo’s van Brian De Palma’s verfilming van _Carrie_ van Stephen King.
