Jirô dreams of flying and designing beautiful airplanes, inspired by the famous Italian aeronautical designer Caproni. Nearsighted from a young age and unable to be a pilot, Jirô joins a major Japanese engineering company in 1927 and becomes one of the world's most innovative and accomplished airplane designers. The film chronicles much of his life, depicting key historical events, including the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, the Great Depression, the tuberculosis epidemic and Japan's plunge into war. Jirô meets and falls in love with Nahoko, and grows and cherishes his friendship with his colleague Honjo.

A decades-spanning tale inspired by the life of Jirô Horikoshi, designer of the World War II fighter plane the Zero.

Taken over by the Grignoux in 1982, the cinema le Parc is located on the edge of Liège, near Bressoux. It has a magnificent auditorium with over 400 seats. Complemented by film and television archives, these images expose both the daily humiliations and despoilments suffered by the Palestinian people and the colonial reappropriation of these memories : certain completely banal scenes from everyday life are associated with terrorism by the Israeli authorities. Through this political and fascinating device, Kamal Aljafari gives us access to the history of his people.
