Iraq War, 2006. A U.S. Navy SEAL unit is holed up in the home of an Iraqi family for a dangerous mission in Ramadi. With snipers, the soldiers monitor all movements of the “enemy” in minute detail, yet they fail to prevent a major ambush. Under heavy fire, the operation gets completely out of hand, resulting in serious injuries. While the soldiers make every effort to keep the wounded alive and desperately wait for rescue, their situation becomes more and more dire: how long can they hold out?

Based on the memories of Iraq veteran Ray Mendoza, who wrote the screenplay and co-directed the film with Alex Garland (Civil War).
