Why do I still need to get a ticket with a Cineville Pass?
The Cineville Pass allows you to go to the movies at all member cinemas, but it does not give you direct access to the movie theaters. To gain access to the movie theaters, you will first have to report to the box office to pick up a ticket.
A ticket is necessary because cinemas are required to register their visitors, and to see how many people go to a movie. In case of an accident or emergency, emergency services need to know exactly how many people are in the building and who these people are. In addition, there are administrative differences between regular visitors and Cineville members, who must also be registered.
